Spring retreat 2025

We would love to invite you to join our spring retreat this April. The retreat will take place in Giethoorn, the Venice of the Netherlands during 4-6 April. During the retreat we will focus on taking time to meet each other and to learn more about God.

You can expect a weekend filled with meeting other international students and getting to know each other. We will have plenty of activities such as workshops, worship, sports, games and sermons.

The theme of the retreat will be: It’s not about you. We will spend our first evening on the perspective of yourself, the Saturday focusing on God’s perspective and we will end our retreat with the perspective on community.

You are welcome on Friday evening from 6 PM when we will have dinner together. The weekend will finish on Sunday afternoon.

The costs for the weekend are €80 and include food and activities for the whole weekend.

Additional information:

Please plan your travel plans in advance as Giethoorn is not the easiest to reach. It is worth it though as it is a beautiful location. The best way to reach it is to take public transport to Steenwijk station. There will be transportation from the station of Steenwijk to our location.

Our accommodation is only reachable by boat. So for safety purposes we would like to know if you are able to swim. Please add this when signing up for the retreat.
